Overview of CAC/EGUSD

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is meant to work collaboratively with the Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) to promote effective Special Education programs and services within the EGUSD to ensure that all students with disabilities have available to them a free and appropriate public education.

The CAC and the EGUSD are meant to work together on Special Education policies, procedures, programs, and parent education in the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) as mandated by the California Education Code.

Please join us at a CAC meeting to receive support and answers to questions, meet other parents, become informed about the Special Education process, and to meet the EGUSD Special Education staff.
