EGUSD Community Advisory Committee Meetings

Do you have a child who requires special education services and supports in the Elk Grove Unified School District?  Are you a self-advocate who would like to share your perspective and get involved? 

Attend quartely CAC Meetings, get support, and gain valuable Information. Please join us. You do not need to have a child attending EGUSD schools to attend our meetings.

Become part of the process to advise and collaborate with the Special Education local plan area (SELPA) and make sure your voice is heard.

General CAC Meeting

Open to all parents, staff, support agencies, interested community members and students of the Elk Grove Unified School District. For the 2019-2020 school year, CAC meetings are held the second Wednesday of November, January, March, and June. Meetings are scheduled from 6:00 until 8:15 p.m.  Location is the Robert Trigg Education Center, 9510 Elk Grove-Florin Road, in the Board Room unless specified due ot the school closures.  If the schools are closed the CAC meetings will be held on a digital platform like Zoom.   In person meetings, daycare will be provided at each CAC Meeting.

Confidential Conferences

If you have an individual concern regarding special education services and support for a student and would like to have a confidential conference with an EGUSD Special Education staff member, contact CAC member via this website and be prepared to attend the next CAC meeting with the completed Request for Confidential Conference form.
